Arabesque bathroom

When considering possible starting points for these two bathroom windows I found myself calling to mind the wonderful samples of weaving I had see made by the client. I decided to create a design that would mimic in glass something of the beauty of textile art and take for its inspiration the client's own achievement in the medium. The arabesques running through each panel are the result of acid etching on flashed glass {clear glass overlain with a layer of coloured glass}.
